Gonzaga Athletic Hall of Fame
The “little big man” for Gonzaga University, the 5-9 Billy Suter earned four varsity letters each in basketball and baseball. He was a three-time All-Big Sky Conference third baseman, a two-time second-team pick in basketball and capped his senior year by earning All-Big Sky first-team basketball honors. He ranks sixth on the all-time Gonzaga basketball scoring list with 1,354 points. His basketball teammates voted him most inspirational player four times. Suter was also a two-time selection to the United Press International Small All-America team for players 5-10 and under.
