Hubbs joins the Zags after spending two years at Lower Columbia College, where he excelled en route to being named the 2026 NWAC Pitcher of the Year and the 2026 NWAC Baden Player of the Year. Hubbs had a 1.16 ERA with a .187 Batting Average against in the 2026 season. He struck out 77 batters while allowing just 17 walks. Hubbs complied a 9-2 record over 14 starts, tossing 77.2 innings while giving up just four extra base hits in 295 batters faced.
Hubbs finished his LCC career with a 2.04 career ERA over 141 innings pitched. Opponents had a .196 batting average against him over his career, while he struck out 135 batters and walked just 38. Hubbs is returning back to Spokane, where he was a 3 time First Team All-GSL and a first team All-State first team selection in the 3A division
