2023: WCC All-Conference Honorable Mention… WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention…Pitched in 15 games with 11 starts… Went 4-3 with a 5.33 earned run average while throwing 76 innings with 72 strikeouts on the season… Threw 2 complete games , including a shutout on May 7 against Saint Mary’s… Recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts on Apr. 23 at Portland.
2022: Made 13 appearances on the mound for GU, striking out 28 over 22 innings of work … Went a career-high 4 ? frames in an upset win over No. 2 Oklahoma State on 4/18, striking out six while holding the Beavers to one run in that span … Held opposing batters to a .169 average … Finished the season with two wins and a save.
2021: Made 10 appearances as a reliever for the Bulldogs, striking out 14 in 16.2 innings of work… Struck out seven in a season-high four innings against LMU (3/26).
2020: Made three appearances and struck out three in 2.2 innings of work...Pitched 2.0 shutout innings with two strikeouts in a win at Washington State.

Personal: Son of Angie and Jace Rutherford…has three brothers; Cole, Tyson and Austin…majoring in Nursing…chose Gonzaga because it was a goal and for the coaching staff.
