Zag Volleyball to host free exhibitions to open 2026 season

SPOKANE, Wash.- Gonzaga Volleyball will host two free exhibition matches on August 14th against Lewis & Clark State to kick off the 2026 campaign.
The Zags will host the exhibition doubleheader at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Martin Centre on August 14th, giving fans their first free opportunity to see Gonzaga Volleyball as they kick off the 2026 season. The Bulldogs will also host an additional free exhibition match against Central Washington on August 21st at 2 p.m in the Martin Centre.
Gonzaga will be joining the Pac-12 for the first time in the 2026 season, building on the upward trajectory under head coach JT Wenger as he starts his second season at GU. The Zags had their best season win percentage in a decade last season, setting a program record for aces served in a single season last year with 180. The Zags scored the most points (1,787) of any Zag volleyball team in a decade while hitting for the third best attack percentage in program history under current scoring rules.
