- The Gonzaga men's soccer schedule has quickly becoming one of the toughest in the country.
- They played No. 3 Washington on Labor Day and on Friday hosted No. 17 UC Davis.
- Still remaining on the Zags schedule is No. 22 San Francisco, No. 20 Portland, and Saint Mary's, who is receiving votes.

- Gonzaga redshirt senior goalkeeper Ben Willis has added to his impressive career so far this season. He has played all 580 minutes between the pipes for GU this season, second in the nation and first in the WCC.
- He leads the conference in saves per game at 4.67 per contest and total saves at 28, which is fifth in the nation.
- He is second in the WCC shutouts with two, good for 22nd in the country.
GOLDEN EAGLES:
- Oral Roberts has gone to overtime in four of their matches so far, going to double overtime twice with two wins, one tie, and one loss.
- After dropping two-straight matches, they have won two of their last three. They lost 2-1 at Bradley where Gonzaga tied the Braves 2-2.
- They were picked fifth in the Summit League with Junior Chavez and Dante Brigida being picked preseason all-conference.
MUSTANGS:
- SMU was the preseason No. 8 team in the nation but have fallen out of the most recent polls.
- They dropped their season opener to Providence and lost at home against No. 19 Denver.
- Garrett McLaughlin was named the AAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. Emil Cuello joined him on the preseason all-conference team.
MAN DOWN, TEAM UP:
- The Zags have played on three occasions a man down the last two seasons. They have pulled out the victory in two of those games.
- On Sunday night, they played the final 10 minutes 10 vs. 11, but held their 1-0 lead, not allowing a single shot on goal.
- In a memorable moment, Gonzaga beat Denver at home last season in overtime when Christo Michaelson scored the short-handed goal in the 2-1 win.
