Gonzaga struggled to get any offense working against the Cougars as Lauren Armas and Abby Cullen were the Bulldogs top weapons with each player collecting seven kills. Cullen also added seven blocks, one solo as the Bulldogs did win the battle at the net 11-9.
Washington State was led by Jessie Camp's 12 kills while Jennifer Todd contributed 11 kills and six assisted blocks. WSU combined for a .179 hitting percentage while holding the Bulldogs to a .000 attacking night.
Heather Signor led the Bulldogs defense with a match-high 9 digs. Megan Camp led WSU with 8 digs. The Cougars also held the advantage in the serving game with a 9-0 advantage in service aces. It was the first time this season that Gonzaga has not recorded a service ace. Jen Barcus had three to lead Washington State.
Gonzaga returns to action this weekend with West Coast Conference road matches at Saint Mary's and San Francisco.
