LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Isaac Dalhart scored his first goal of the season in the 84th minute to lift Gonzaga men's soccer to a 1-1 draw against UNLV Sunday at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

The Bulldogs (3-3-2) and Rebels (4-2-2) played through a scoreless opening 45 minutes, with Gonzaga generating four shots in the first half. Chema Preciado made three saves before the break to keep UNLV off the board.

Gonzaga's attack picked up in the second half, recording nine shots after halftime. Michael Luande put an attempt on frame in the 48th minute, while Noah Ervin forced a team save in the 73rd.

UNLV broke the scoreless tie in the 70th minute when Bryce Allred found the bottom-left corner off assists from Mikah Madrid and Andres Robles.

The Zags continued to push for the equalizer and found it at the 83:18 mark. Dalhart finished into the top-left corner with his right foot, with Carson Hammond and Dylan Cantafio each picking up assists on the goal.

Gonzaga nearly grabbed the lead moments later. Drew Pedersen and Nicolas Golesis both put shots on frame in the 87th minute before Pedersen had a penalty kick saved by UNLV goalkeeper Hugo Lemos, keeping the match even.

The Bulldogs finished with 13 shots, including eight on goal, while UNLV also recorded 13 attempts with five on frame. Gonzaga held a 9-4 advantage in shots during the second half. Preciado finished with four saves, while Lemos made six.
