OUT OF THE GATES
- Gonzaga has won 16 of its 33 all-time season-opening matches, including its last three of its last four.
- The Zags are unbeaten in seven of their last 10 season-openers, with losses at No. 19 Texas in 2019, 4-3, and versus Pittsburgh in 2022 in Missoula, 1-0, and 2-1 at home last season versus Utah.
- In last season's opener, after a scoreless first half, GU's Shila Rasoul found the back of the net in the 53rd minute. But, Utah would then score twice in the 68th and 81st minutes to rally for the road win.
- The Bulldogs have also won 11 of its last 15 season-opening contests. Gonzaga tied at Nevada in 2015, 1-1.

- After 47 years in the West Coast Conference, Gonzaga officially embarks in its new home, the Pac-12 Conference.
- Bulldog women's soccer, who was in the WCC for 32 seasons, will play the first official game for Gonzaga as a Pac-12 member.
TRIO NAMED PRESEASON IMPACTS
- Amelia Severn, Samantha Snorsky, and Makayla Werner were all tabbed to the preseason Pac-12 Impact List as submitted by the league's nine head coaches.
- Severn, a junior midfielder, was named First Team All-Region and All-Conference last season. She was third in the conference in goals (10) and points (25).
- Snorsky was the West Coast Conference's Freshman of the Year in 2025. She was second in the conference with nine assists.
- Werner started in all 19 matches last season and was honorable mention All-WCC.
ZAGS TABBED SIXTH IN PAC-12 POLL
- In their first year in the conference, the Zags were selected sixth in the Pac-12's preseason poll as voted by the league's head coaches. Head coaches were not allowed to rank their team.
