Gonzaga will be the fourth seed in the Pac-12 Tournament next week

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's soccer clinched a spot in the 2026 Pac-12 Conference Tournament with a 2-0 win over Oregon State Thursday at Luger Field. It was the regular-season finale for both teams, with five teams still in contention for the conference's final tournament spot.

The Bulldogs (9-8-2, 4-4-0 Pac-12), who needed a win to advance, secured the No. 4 seed in next week's conference tournament. Gonzaga will face top-seeded host Utah State in the second semifinal Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Pacific. The Zags upset then-No. 19 Utah State, 3-1, in Spokane on Oct. 25.

On Thursday against Oregon State (3-12-4, 2-4-2), Gonzaga controlled the tempo of the match. The Zags outshot OSU, 24-5, with a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal. GU took six of the game's seven corner kicks, and possessed the ball for 54 percent of the match.

In the 34th minute, Samantha Snorsky chipped a shot over the Beavers' goalkeeper and into the corner of the net. Her eighth goal of the season came off an assist from Shila Rasoul, her sixth of the year.

Utah State (13-3-3, 6-1-1) and Boise State (14-2-2, 6-1-1) both finished with 19 points in the conference standings, but the Aggies claimed the top spot in the Pac-12 Tournament following the 1-0 head-to-head win in Boise on Oct. 11. Gonzaga handed USU its lone league loss this season.

The conference semifinals begin Wednesday with second-seeded Boise State facing third-seeded San Diego State (10-4-3, 4-2-2) at 3 p.m. Pacific, followed by Gonzaga and Utah State at 6:30 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on YouTube, and live stats for the Zags' semifinal against Utah State will be available at GoZags.com.
