BACK HOME
- The Zags enter the match looking for their second conference victory of the season and end the regular season with a victory for the third straight season.
- Gonzaga defeated Pacific twice last season, one non-conference matchup and one conference matchup. Each team hosted one match with GU winning 4-3 in Stockton and then 1-0 in double overtime in Spokane. Those are the only two matchups in series history.
- The Tigers enter the match looking for their first WCC victory of the season.
- Thirteen of Gonzaga's 16 matches have ended with just a one-goal margin. GU is 5-8 in those games.
- Five Gonzaga players earned WCC All-Academic honors led by First Team selection Chris Lowrimore.
Ben White, Jalen Crisler, Colton Cavey and Jakob Granlund all earned honorable mention.
ON THE DEFENSE:
- Gonzaga has allowed the fewest goals in the WCC this season with 19, and allowed the fewest shots on goal from its opponents with just 85.
- Gonzaga has recorded four shutouts this season and allowed more than one goal only four times in 17 games with three coming against NCAA Tournament teams from last season - San Diego, Denver, Hartwick.
- Goalkeeper Chris Lowrimore ranks 78th in the nation in goals against average (1.09) and played every minute in goal for GU to rank 75th in goalkeeper minutes (1564:27).
- Lowrimore ranks No. 2 in goalkeeper minutes and No. 3 in the WCC in goals against average.
- Against Bradley, Lowrimore recorded his fourth shutout of the season and sixth of his career (one combined). That ranks him tied for fifth all-time at GU in career shutouts.
ON THE OFFENSE:
- Gonzaga is 6-1 this season when scoring the game's first goal, and 0-9-1 when the other team scores first.
- As a team, Gonzaga has outshot opponents 223-156 overall and 85-64 in shots on goal.
- The Zags have also done well forcing corner kicks, ranking fourth in the league with 86 on the year.
- Junior Jakob Granlund and Senior Conner Bevans are tied for the team lead with eight points on three goals and two assists each.
- Granlund is tied for third in the WCC with Ben White and Conner Bevans with two game-winning goals each.
- Defender David Sigurdsson scored his first-career collegiate goal with a header against Portland off a free kick.
- Conner Bevans scored 2:05 into overtime against Portland from 30 yards out for his second goal of the season, and second gamewinner. Bevans also added an assist against UP and was named the WCC Player of the Week.
- Sophomore Ben White recorded his third goal of the season against Bradley, despite spending most of his time as a defender this season. He added an assist at Bradley and is third on the team with seven points on the year.
- Granlund ranks first on the team in shots (48), shots on goal (22) and third in WCC in SOG/game (2.82).
- As a team, GU is ranked second in the WCC in shots per game (13.12) and second in SOG per game (5.0).
- Sophomore Christo Michaelson notched his first-career goal against Oregon State, knocking in a 40-yarder to catch the goalkeeper out of position, then added a second at Bradley.
- Local junior college transfer Alec Johnson - from North Idaho College - notched his first-career goal at Gonzaga, deflecting in a free kick off the foot of Colton Cavey.
- Cavey's assist tied him with freshman Jake Kempf, Bevans and Granlund for the team lead with two.
HEAD COACH EINAR THORARINSSON:
- GU is in its 21st season under head coach Einar Thorarinsson, who has 148 victories at GU - most ever at GU.
