LIVE STATS:
ON THE ROAD AGAIN:
- After a six-game homestand in which Gonzaga went 3-2-1, the Zags will hit the road for the second and third games of a six-game roadtrip at Bradley and Denver. The two matches wrap the non-conference season for GU.
- The road trip includes stops in five states - Nevada (UNLV), Illinois (Bradley), Colorado (Denver), Oregon (Portland), and California (Loyola Marymount and San Diego).
- Bradley has two common opponents with Gonzaga - Utah Valley and UNLV - both of which the Braves fell 4-1. GU took a 1-0 loss to each of those teams.
- Denver is the sixth of seven NCAA Tournament teams that GU will face. The Zags are 2-3 so far in those games.
- Earlier this year, GU defeated then-No. 13 Oregon State, which was the first ranked win since Sept. 22, 2013, and highest-ranked win since 2007 when the Zags took down No. 1 UC-Santa Barbara to open the season.
ON THE DEFENSE:
- Gonzaga has recorded three shutouts this season and allowed more than one goal only one time - a 2-1 double-overtime loss to Hartwick.
- Dating back to last season, Gonzaga has gone 11 straight games and 16 of the last 18 without allowing more than one goal in regulation.
- Goalkeeper Chris Lowrimore ranks 28th in the nation in goals against average (.748), 71st in save percentage (.750) and played every minute in goal for GU to rank 34th in goalkeeper minutes (842:22).
- Lowrimore ranks No. 1 in the WCC in goals against average, second in goalkeeper minutes and fourth in save pct.
- Against Milwaukee, Lowrimore recorded his third shutout of the season and fifth of his career (one combined). That ranks him sixth all-time at GU in career shutouts.
ON THE OFFENSE:
- As a team, Gonzaga has outshot opponents 116-78 overall and 43-28 in shots on goal.
- Junior Jakob Granlund leads the team with five points (2g, 1a), and is ranked first in the WCC and 33rd in the nation with two game-winning goals after scoring the eventual winner against Oregon State.
- Granlund ranks first on the team in shots (19), shots on goal (12) and second in WCC in SOG/game (1.50).
- Sophomore Ben White recorded his second goal of the season against Milwaukee, despite spending most of his time as a defender this season. The two goals ties him for the team lead.
- As a team, GU is ranked second in the WCC in shots per game (12.88) and third in SOG per game (5.13).
- Sophomore Christo Michaelson notched his first-career goal against Oregon State, knocking in a 40-yarder to catch the goalkeeper out of position.
