
Men's Soccer Traveling To Milwaukee For Panther Invitational

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University men's soccer travels to Milwaukee this week for the 40th edition of the Panther Invitational.
Gonzaga is set to face Marquette Friday at 3pm PT and Panther Invitational host Wisconsin-Milwaukee Sunday at 9:00am PT. The tournament is split between Marquette's home venue, Valley Fields, and Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Engelmann Stadium.
Gonzaga (0-1) looks to collect their first win of the season after opening with a 4-0 setback to #4 Washington. Marquette is ranked 15th in nation according to Top Drawer Soccer.com despite dropping their first two games of the season.
Einar Thorarinnson is now in his 20th season with the Bulldogs and 29th year overall as a head coach. He has a career coaching record of 266-224-45.
