Johnson Named To Great Lakes All-Star Game

DELAWARE, Ohio - Gonzaga University outfielder David Johnson was recently named to the Great Lakes Summer League All-Star team as a member of the Blue team in the league's annual All-Star game. Johnson was also tabbed to participate when the Great Lake All-Stars take on Team USA in an exhibition game on July 28.
Johnson is currently leading the Great Lakes league with 25 RBI and four home runs as a member of the Northern Ohio Baseball Club. Last season a junior at Gonzaga, Johnson earned honorable mention All-West Coast Conference honors after hitting .309 with eight home runs and 35 RBI.
The Great Lakes Summer League consists of 11 teams covering the Midwest States of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The league has been in existence since the 1980's and has over 60 former players with Major League experience.
