Former Zag Named To Arizona Fall League Roster

PHOENIX - Former Gonzaga University baseball standout Bo Hart has been named one of seven players selected to represent the St. Louis Cardinals in the Arizona Fall League. Hart is currently the starting second baseman for the Potomac Cannons, the Carolina League affiliate of the Cardinals. A first-team All-West Coast Conference selection for the Bulldogs in 1999, Hart is currently hitting .306 with 22 doubles. He will play on the Phoenix Diamond Dogs squad which consists of top prospects from the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland A's and St. Louis Cardinals.
The Arizona Fall League is a six team league for high profile prospects which runs from early October through November in the Phoenix area. This season 25 first round picks from the 30 Major League clubs will be playing in the AFL.
