Former Zag Named To Carolina League All-Star Team

SPOKANE, Wash, - Former Gonzaga University baseball player Bo Hart has been named to the Carolina League (Single A) All-Star team after hitting .303 during the first half of the season for the Potomac (VA) Cannons, an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Hart was voted the league's starting second baseman but will miss the game after breaking his hand at the end of last week. Hart currently leads the Carolina League with 21 doubles while collecting five home runs and 30 RBI's on the season. The Santa Cruz, CA, native will accompany the Carolina League All-Star team to California where they will face a group of California League All-Stars in the Single-A All-Star game on June 19 in Lancaster, CA. During his Gonzaga career, Hart was a two-time All-West Coast Conference selection and finished ranking eighth on the career home run list.
