Gonzaga / Pepperdine Game Rescheduled For May 4 In Malibu

SPOKANE, Wash. - The West Coast Conference baseball game between Gonzaga and Pepperdine, rained out on March 4, has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 4, at Eddy D. Field Stadium in Malibu, Calif. Start time for the game is 3:00 p.m. The two teams will resume the game at the point in which the game was rained out with Gonzaga leading 1-0 heading into the bottom of the second inning. The Zags will be the home team in the contest that should have an important impact on the West Coast Conference championship race. Following their one game trip at Pepperdine, Gonzaga will battle Loyola Marymount in a three-game Friday/Sunday series. Start time for Friday's single game on the LMU campus is 2:30 p.m. Sunday's double-header will start at 12:00 noon and will be broadcast on Spokane radio station KTRW AM 970. Sunday's double-header can also be heard on the internet at www.gozags.com with veteran broadcaster Bob Robertson providing all the play-by-play action.
