2022: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention...played in 72 sets over 21 matches during the season...recorded 17 service aces, 17 kills on 63 attacks, 106 digs and 4.0 blocks.
Fall 2021: Saw action in 26 matches on the season…recorded the third-most service aces on the team with 21… added 25 digs, six kills, three assists, and six blocks.
Spring 2021: Appeared in eight sets on the season, finishing with one dig on the year.
2019: Saw action in six matches on the season…finished with a season-high five kills against UConn on Aug. 30…added eight digs and 3.0 blocks in the win.
2018: Redshirted true freshman season.
Seven Lakes High School: Helped Seven Lakes to a 27-8 overall record her senior season and a runner-up finish in the Class 6A state tournament…averaged 3.9 kills and 3.0 digs per set in 2017…named to the Houston Chronicle’s First Team All-Greater Houston Volleyball Team…named First Team All-District…finished her prep career with 1,024 kills and 790 digs…earned Third Team All-State in 2016 after tallying 581 kills and 351 digs…also played basketball for two seasons.
Club Experience: Played club for Houston Juniors 17 Elite, one of the top 20 clubs in the nation…with Houston Juniors, helped claim a national bid at the Houston Regionals in 2016.
Personal: Daughter of Susan and Kurt Batenhorst…has two sisters, Ally and Casey…plans to major in business…chose Gonzaga because “of the family environment, strong academics, great volleyball program and coaches. Also, being from Texas, I’m excited for the four seasons because I love cold weather.”
