- Gonzaga faces Syracuse in a consolation bracket semifinal game at the 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
- This is GU's sixth appearance in the Maui Invitational and the first since winning the 2018 title. The Bulldogs boast an 11-5 record in the event with tournament titles in 2009 and 2018.
- Gonzaga is 44-13 under Mark Few in events during the week of Thanksgiving, and 33-7 in the last 10 Thanksgiving week events. Under Mark Few, GU has won seven tournaments during the week of Thanksgiving, and played in 11 of the 16 tournament championship games.
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 73-63 loss to No. 2 Purdue in the quarterfinals of the Maui Invitational Monday. GU led for over 21 minutes and had a five-point lead at halftime. The Zags led by as many as nine midway through the first half. Graham Ike led Gonzaga with 14 points and seven rebounds.
- The Zags are No. 11 in the Associated Press poll. The Bulldogs' 136 straight AP Poll appearances top the nation, with Houston's 67 consecutive appearances as the next best.
- Graham Ike was named preseason first team All-American by The Sporting News.
