- The Zags are coming off of their first-ever win at Portland. GU was 0-13-0 all-time at Merlo Field going into Wednesday's 1-0 shutout victory.

SCOUTING THE DONS:
- San Francisco dropped a 1-0 decision at home to Loyola Marymount Wednesday.
- The Dons outshot LMU, 10-5, with a 5-3 edge in shots on goal, but fell on a penalty kick in the 55th minute.
- USF's Keely Roy and Samantha Jehnings both took three shots and had two on goal. Olivia Camera made a pair of saves in the San Francisco net.
- Camera has made 52 saves this season, with a .732 save percentage. She has a 1.49 goals against average.
- Miciah Madison has a team-high seven goals, six assists and 20 points. She has also taken a team-best 31 shots, with 20 going on goal.
- Jehnings has also made seven goals this season, and has one assist. Sydney Cooper has scored four times.
- The Dons are currently sixth in the United Soccer Coaches West Region rankings, while GU is fifth.
LOOKING AHEAD ... at PEPPERDINE:
- Gonzaga travels to Pepperdine next Saturday.
- The Waves own the all-time series, 18-5-3, including 7-3-2 in the matchups in Malibu.
- The teams played to a scoreless draw in last season's meeting in Spokane. The game was on ESPNU.
