Lisa Fortier announced the signing of Teryn Gardner for the 2025-26 season. A 5-9 guard, Gardner returns to Spokane, after one year at Boise State.

Gardner comes to Gonzaga after one year at Boise State. During her freshman year, she appeared in 32 games and averaged 12.7 minutes. Her best scoring performance was against Furman, where she scored 10 points. She also grabbed a career-high nine rebounds against Utah Tech.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Gardner was named the SBLive's WaFd Bank's Washington 3A/4A Senior Girls Athlete of the Year…named the Metro Girls Athlete of the Year at the Spokane Youth Sports Awards…named the Greater Spokane League MVP her junior and senior seasons…recognized as the league's best defensive player as a senior…named all-conference all four seasons…led the Panthers to three consecutive top-five finishes at the WIAA Class 3A Championships, including a runner-up finish as a senior…named to the Washington All-Classification, All-State team twice…finished her career with 1,568 career points…earned a second-team all-state and second-team all-conference nod as a midfielder her senior year…also won a state championship as part of Mead's 4x400 relay team as a junior…named class valedictorian.
Lisa Fortier on Gardner: We are so glad to bring Teryn back home. She is a great shooter who has the motor to play the speed we like to play at Gonzaga. She will be able to guard multiple positions and is eager to improve as a player. She was a standout 3 sport athlete at Mead and we can't wait to help her develop as she continues her focus on basketball.
