2023: WCC All-Conference First Team… One of three players to start in all 52 games for the Zags in 2023… Led the Zags in batting average (.358), on base plus slugging percentage (1.136), runs scored (45), hits (72), doubles (16), home runs (15), runs batted in (51), and walks (36) in 2023… Had 17 multi-hit games on the season… Recorded at least one hit in 44 of 52 games for the Zags with a 19-game hit streak from 3/17-4/21…Hit three home runs and tallied five RBIs on Mar. 5 at Tennessee… Came up one triple short of the cycle on two separate occasions, the first on Feb. 25 at Grand Canyon in Phoenix, Arizona, going 4-for-6 with two doubles, a home run, five runs batted in and two runs scored, and the second on May 13 against Oklahoma going 4-for-6 with two doubles, a home run, five runs batted in, and three runs scored.

Prior to Gonzaga: The reigning NJCAA D1 National Player of the Year …  batted .421 in 2022 with Wabash Valley, hitting 20 homers, scoring 75 runs and driving in 109 more … finished the season first in NJCAA D-I in hits and RBI … helped lead Wabash Valley to a Region 24 title, Midwest District title, and a fourth-place finish at the 2022 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series … In five games in Grand Junction, Kalmer batted .348 with three home runs and eight RBI.
