Men's Tennis Wraps Up Second Day of Western Michigan Invite

KALAMAZOO, Michigan – The Gonzaga men's tennis team wrapped up the second day of the Western Michigan Invite on Saturday afternoon.
The Zags began the day in doubles play with Tom Dunlop and Michael Mitchell teaming up to get the first team win of the day - a 6-4 triumph against Ball State's Anthony Shalakov and A. Hayward. The other Zag doubles win came from duo James Hutchinson and Tristan Hernandez, who had a 6-4 victory over Western Michigan's Drew Evans and Jose Perez.
In the day's singles matches, Nicholas Reeves and Tom Dunlop both earned victories against Western Michigan's Jack Davison and Ball State's Jeremy Milette, respectively. Michael Mitchell also secured a win against Anthony Shalakov (BSU) who retired from the match after Mitchell took the first set, 6-0.
Gonzaga will close out the weekend with more action Sunday in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
