Zag Trio Named to Pac-12 Preseason Impact List

Gonzaga selected sixth in the league’s predicted order of finish
SPOKANE, Wash. – As Gonzaga women's soccer prepares for their first season in the Pac-12 Conference, three Zags; Amelia Severn, Samantha Snorsky, and Makayla Werner, have been named to the league's Preseason Impact List, as selected by the conference's nine head coaches.
Severn, a junior midfielder, enters the season following a standout sophomore campaign. She earned First Team All-Region and All-Conference honors in 2025 after ranking third in the conference with 10 goals and 25 points.
Snorsky was named the WCC Freshman of the Year last season after making an immediate impact in her first collegiate campaign. She finished second in the conference with nine assists and will look to build on that production as the Bulldogs enter their first season in the Pac-12.
Werner started in all 19 matches for the Bulldogs last season and was tabbed honorable mention All-Conference. She was a key piece of the GU defense that posted four shutouts and was fifth in the conference allowing 27 goals in 2025.
The trio's selection to the Preseason Impact List comes as Gonzaga was selected sixth in the Pac-12's preseason predicted order of finish. The poll was voted on by the league's nine head coaches, who were not permitted to rank their own team.
