THE TIP OFF:
- Gonzaga and Southern Mississippi meet for the first time ever in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis on Wednesday, at 4 p.m. Pacific Time.
- The Zags are 6-0 all-time against current members from Conference USA.
- This is Gonzaga's second trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis.
- The Bulldogs are 2-1 all-time in the championship round of
the tournament. GU placed third at the event in 2015.
- Gonzaga is coming off of a 77-49 win over CSU Bakersfield Saturday. Five Zags finished in double-digit scoring led by Filip Petrusev's 15 points and six rebounds. Killian Tillie added 13 points in his second game back for GU. The Bulldogs forced 27 turnovers.
- The 27 turnovers were the most forced by Gonzaga since Southern Utah committed 28 on Nov. 9, 2012.
- The Bulldogs have won 26 straight regular season games, the longest active streak in the nation.
- Gonzaga's 27 consecutive wins at home is the second longest active streak in the country, and fifth longest in program history.
- After six games, GU is second in scoring margin (29.3), eighth in scoring offense (88.3), ninth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.74), ninth with 108 total assists, 12th in field goal percentage (51.9) and 12th with a 12.2 rebound margin.
- Joel Ayayi's 5.0 assist-to-turnover ratio is 13th in the nation. He has 20 assists to four turnovers.
- Filip Petrusev currently leads the West Coast Conference in blocked shots per game (1.5), field goal percentage (61.4), and offensive rebounds per game (3.00).

- Southern Mississippi is coming off an 83-64 win over William Carey in Hattiesburg, Miss., Sunday.
- Four Golden Eagles finished scoring in double-digits led by Boban Jacdonmi and Clay Weatherspoon, who both scored 15 points. Leonard Harper-Baker and Gabe Watson both added 10 points each. Harper-Baker pulled down 12 rebounds, dished out five assists, made three steals and blocked two shots. Jay Malone had seven of USM's 20 assists.
- Jacdonmi average's a team-best 16.4 points per game. Harper-Baker adds 9.8 points per game, and grabs a team-high 9.2 rebounds. Malone has thrown a team-high 25 assists to seven turnovers.
- The Golden Eagles were picked 14th in the Conference USA preseason poll, after winning 20 games last season.
