Zags return to annual tournament in the Bahamas next season
SPOKANE, Wash. – Days after winning the 2018 Maui Jim Maui Invitational, the Gonzaga men's basketball were announced as a participant in the 2019 Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis Friday.
The tournament takes place on Paradise Island in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Resort and features a premiere field, which includes the Zags, Alabama, Iowa State, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Seton Hall and Southern Mississippi.
The event will be played over the Thanksgiving holiday in the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Paradise Island hotel. The tournament bracket will be released at a later date.
Gonzaga won two of its three games in the 2015 Battle 4 Atlantis, beating Washington, falling to Texas A&M and then defeating Connecticut for third-place.
The Bulldogs return home from Maui, and host North Dakota State Monday at 6 p.m.
