Smith Advances To Main Draw Of Canada F3 Futures Tournament

RICHMOND, British Columbia - Gonzaga University men's tennis junior-to-be Hayden Smith has qualified for the Main Draw of 32 at the Canada F3 Futures Tournament being played at the Richmond Country Club.
Smith of Breakfast Point, Australia, downed Charles Force of the USA 6-3, 6-4, Joshua MacNeil of Canada 6-2, 6-1 and Canadian Riaan Du Toit 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
Bulldog senior-to-be Nick Kamisar, who had a first-round bye, defeated Alexander Centenari of Towson, Md., and a graduate of Dartmouth University, 6-4, 6-2. Kamisar, of Sammamish, Wash., saw his run end with a 7-5, 6-4 setback to Osama Zoghlami of Canada.
