Men's Tennis Ousted 6-1 To The Pacific Tigers

STOCKTON, Calif. - Alvaro Nazal won his sixth consecutive match and 10th overall this spring, but Gonzaga University men's tennis fell 6-1 to the University of the Pacific at Hal Nelson Tennis Courts Sunday.
The defeat moves the Zags down to 6-9 overall.
Nazal continued to play well and handled Alex Golding in the No. 1 singles match. The Santiago, Chile, native won 6-7, 6-4, 1-0 (6). He has not lost since Mar. 2.
No. 3 Levin Guillermo played a competitive match against Denis Stolyarov but was downed 7-5, 6-2.
The match was the seventh consecutive road tilt for the Bulldogs. Gonzaga will return to Spokane for its next four matches as New Mexico State University (Mar. 28), Pepperdine University (Apr. 5), Loyola Marymount (Apr. 6) and BYU (Apr. 13) visit the Spokane Racquet Center.
