Bulldogs Falls To Broncos In WCC Championships Opener

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The seventh-seed Gonzaga University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to second seed and 47th-ranked Santa Clara University in the opening round of the West Coast Conference Championships held at the Barnes Tennis Center Thursday.
The Bulldogs fall to 5-16 overall and will face the University of Portland Friday at 8 a.m.
The Bulldogs dropped the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches and the Broncos posted three singles wins to advance to the next round of the tournament.
