FRESHMAN (2025-26): Yonemura competed in all six of the Zags’ spring and fall competitions, playing 18 rounds… Finished her freshman season with a 73.50 scoring average, third-best on the team… Shot par or better in six rounds… Recorded two top-10 finishes, including a tie for ninth at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational after shooting a 1-over 217… Opened her collegiate career with a 1-over 217 at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate, tying for 10th… Fired a season-low 5-under 67 in the opening round of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational… Added a tie for 11th at the WCC Championships, shooting 6-over 222 and recording 38 pars, fourth-most in the 40-player field… Helped Gonzaga to a team victory at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational and a runner-up finish at the Red Rocks Invitational… Named a WGCA All-American Scholar for her work in the classroom… Won the Kauai Amateur at Wailua Golf Course during the summer, shooting 4-under 212 (71-71-70) to win the championship by two strokes.
PRIOR TO GONZAGA: Yonemura was named First Team OIA West following her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. She placed 14th at the HHSAA State Championship last season, after a sixth-place finish in her sophomore season in 2023. She took medalist honors at the 2024 OIA Barber's Point Tournament after carding a 71. She also placed eighth at the 2022 OIA Championship.
