Prior to Gonzaga
- A district champion in cross country, Kissell was the 21st overall finisher at Oregon's 6A State Championships in 2021 to lead Summit to a sixth-place finish in the team score. On the track, he placed 9th in both the 1500m and 3000m at the OSAA 6A State Championships. Kissell boasts personal bests of 3:55.77 in the 1500m, 8:22.70 in the 3000m, and a 15:22 cross country 5K.
Personal
- With a 4.3 weighted GPA at Summit, Kissell is studying Human Physiology. "I picked Gonzaga because when I visited the school, I felt a strong connection to the coaches and the team and felt that it was a place where I could be very successful athletically and academically," Kissell said.
