SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's cross country and track and field head coach
Jake Stewart was named an assistant coach for USA Track & Field for the 2025 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships.
The NACAC Championships is a regional track and field competition scheduled for June 28-30, with the location to be announced. A total of 37 countries will compete at the fifth edition of the championships. The last competition was held in 2022 in The Bahamas, with the United States winning a championship-best 63 medals and Jamaica second with 24. A total of 329 athletes from 26 participated in 2022.
"Having the opportunity to be on the 2025 NACAC staff is something I don't take for granted," Stewart said. "I'm excited to have the chance to spend time at an internation competition around some of our countries best athletes."
Stewart will be an assistant coach for the distance runners on the USA Track & Field staff.
