Men’s/Women’s XC Racing at NCAA West Regionals Friday
11/8/2023 2:15:00 PM | Cross Country
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Gonzaga men's and women's cross country teams lace up for the NCAA West Regionals at Arcade Creek Cross Country Course on Friday, as both teams look to continue their historic seasons towards the NCAA National Championships.
The top two in the team score in each race automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships on Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Va. The NCAA Subcommittee will then choose 13 at-large teams to fill out the 31-team field, which will be announced on Saturday during the NCAA Selection Show. At-large berths, however, are based firstly on their performances at regionals, making a third- or fourth- place showing at Arcade Creek a premium for both squads.
