
Duong Named March WCC Golfer of the Month

Bulldog posted 19 birdies leading Zags to two runner-up showings
SAN MATEO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference has named Gonzaga's Quynn Duong its Women's Golfer of the Month for March, 2021.
WCC GOLFER OF THE MONTH (MARCH) – QUYNN DUONG, GONZAGA
Quynn Duong turned in a strong month leading the Bulldogs to a pair of team runner-up showings at the Jackrabbit Invitational and the Red Rocks Invitational.
Duong helped Gonzaga to a team runner-up showing at the Jackrabbit Invitational, finishing in fourth place on the individual leaderboard. The junior ended Round 3 at three-over (75). Duong finished seven-over (223) after three rounds. Duong co-led the tournament in birdies with nine total.
Duong led the Gonzaga charge in Sedona at the Red Rocks Invitational after scoring a team low two-under (214). Duong ended the three rounds tied for second in birdies in the tournament, making 11 across the event. The junior also led the Bulldogs, and placed second in the invitational, in average Par-4 scoring at 4.03 (+1) and shot a 5-under 67 in the final round.
Duong finished the month with a stroke average of 72.83.
