Gonzaga Head Coach Robert Gray …
"Decent first round today. We got off to a great start, had some trouble on a couple of holes on the back but hung in there for the final couple of holes.
"We definitely showed how we're capable of playing, being -7 thru the first 8 and -5 thru 14. Unfortunately, holes 15 & 16 had our number today but we did a great job hanging in there mentally and finishing off the last two holes.
"It was great to see all of the guys have a good day with scores between 2 under and 2 over."
