Gonzaga Head Coach Robert Gray ...
Chambers Bay is a course that demands a strong short game and can punish you for stray shots. We got off to a slow start in the first round and struggled on and near the greens all day along with wayward shots that resulted in big numbers.
I am proud of how the guys kept on grinding throughout the day despite their struggles. One more round to be better in those areas and put up a quality score.
