Gonzaga Head Coach Robert Gray ...
"The course is in excellent shape and the weather was very good today. As a team, we made good decisions for the most part but just didn't execute some shots and they resulted in big numbers. We're spotting the field a bunch of shots with those big numbers and we know we need to get that under control.
"Individually, Matt hit the ball really well and had some good opportunities for birdies. He's got himself in position to still have a solid finish with two rounds to go.
"Holden got off to a slow start being 3 over thru his first 3 holes but fought back to play his final 15 holes at -1. Ross followed him all day and said he ground out a great round without having his best stuff today.
"Two more rounds to go to play the way we're capable."
