Men’s Golf Signs Polo Bodart for 2022-23

Zags ink Argentinian native in early signing period
SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga men's golf head coach Robert Gray announced the signing of Guillermo Polo Bodart to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday.
"We're excited to have Guillermo joining our program," Gray said. "He has a lot of tournament experience and has shown great consistency in his scoring on numerous course layouts. His experience and attention to detail will be a great asset in the college arena, as the courses demand more from the players in ball striking, short game and plotting their way around the course."

Polo Bodart joins the Zags in 2022-23 following a stellar high school career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The incoming freshman boasts a 3.98 grade points average in high school and is a force on the course. He comes to Gonzaga as the 2019 top-ranked Under-15 player in Argentina, winning all four national events. Polo Bodart is ranked 152nd in the nation on Junior Golf Scoreboard and No. 12 in the state of Florida. He took medalist honors at the HJGT Disney Spring Break Open and IMGJGT Tour Championship in 2021.
Also in 2021, Polo Bodart had a sixth-place finish at the AJGA Junior at San Jose, a seventh-place finish at the AJGA Se Ri Pak, and tied for 11th at the AJGA Junior at Ruby Hill. He tied for 18th at the 2021 IMG Junior World Championship.
