
Bulldogs Finish Up At Cowgirl Classic

MARICOPA, Ariz. - The Gonzaga Bulldogs wrapped up the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic on Tuesday morning at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
Jessica Mangrobang led the Zags with a final-round 74, going even on the back nine with two birdies. She finished tied for 30th at +6. Francesca Santoni had 12 pars in her final round to shoot 78 and finish tied for 80th at +18. Diana Araneta tied Santoni at +18 with a final-round 77, collecting two birdies on the front and one on the back.
The Zags finished just two strokes behind UT-Arlington at +61 in 20th. Sacramento State easily won at 10-under par. Sofie Babic of Sac State took the individual title at five-under. The Zags finished third in the event at +9 on the par-three holes. Mangrobang was even on the par-three holes, eighth in the field.
The Zags will take two weeks to prepare for the 2018 West Coast Conference Championships at the Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, Calif.
