
Zags Improve by Three Strokes in Round 2

PALM DESERT, Calif. -- Nick Nolan matched his first round with another round of 73 (+1) on the second day of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club Golf Course Saturday.
The Zags improved their 303 total (+15) from Friday's first round, by three strokes (300, +12) on Day 2. GU is tied for 18th at 27-over (603) after the first two rounds.
Nolan made 13 pars and two birdies in the second round. After going two-over on the front-nine, the freshman went one-under on the back. He is tied for 34th at two-over (146).
Chris Mogg is tied for 69th at seven-over (151). After a 76 (+4) on the first day, the freshman was three-over (75) Saturday. He also had 13 pars with one birdie. He was three-over on the front-nine and even on the back-nine.
Ryan Gaske was seven-over (79) in Round 2. He is tied for 82nd with a 153 (+9) two-round total. David Ganz had the second-lowest round of the day for GU. He carded a 74 (+2) in the second round, a six stroke improvement from Day 1. Ganz made four birdies in Round 2, and is tied for 90th at 10-over (154).
Ben DuBois had a five-stroke improvement from Round 1 to Round 2. He finished at 78 (+6) Saturday. His two round total is 161 (17-over).
