WROW Ranked Program-High 15th in CRCA/US Rowing Poll

The No. 15 ranking is Gonzaga's highest-ever, topping the No. 17 ranking it received to end the 2014-15 season.
The Zags are coming off an impressive showing at the San Diego Crew Classic, nearly half of the nation's top 20 in the field. GU earned a spot in the grand finals of the Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and Open 8 and finished in the top six in each of those. The GU Varsity 4 finished second in the petite final.
The squad features a stable of returning award winners from last season in WCC Rower of the Year Kara Soucek, WCC Coxswain of the Year Karly Dougherty, WCC Newcomer of the Year Isabelle Belzil and All-WCC selections Brooklyn Beeler, Maddie Turbes and Devyn Bell.
Gonzaga will be back in competition in just under two weeks at the two-day Lake Natoma Invitational in Sacramento, Calif., on April 16-17. Check GoZags.com for race information ahead the regatta.
