Sacramento State Invitational On Tap For Women's Rowing

ON TAP: The Gonzaga University women's rowing team is set to participate in the Sacramento State Invitational Saturday at Lake Natoma in Sacramento Calif. The Bulldogs will race seven boats: Varsity 8+, Second Varsity 8+, Novice 8+, Second Novice 8+, Varsity 4+, Second Varsity 4+ and a Novice 4+. Racing begins at 8 a.m.
THE FIELD: Along with Gonzaga University and host Sacramento State University, the following will be participating in the Sacramento State Invitational: Humboldt State University, UC Davis, Saint Mary's College, Orange Coast College and Mills College.

THOUGHTS ON UPCOMING RACE FROM GONZAGA HEAD COACH GLENN PUTYRAE: "It has been an amazing week down here in Sacramento. We got a lot of work done on the water. It is has been a phenomenal experience for our team to train on the course we will race on for our WCC Championship in May. We are looking forward to see how much we have improved this week on Saturday against a bunch of quality opponents."
