James Fahy Ties For 47th At Canadian Amateur Championship

VICTORIA, British Columbia - Gonzaga University men's golf junior-to-be James Fahy tied for 47th at the 109th Canadian Men's Amateur Championship, held at the Royal Colwood Golf Club in Victoria British Columbia Aug. 6-9.
Fahy fired a 10-over par 292 with rounds of 72-72-74-74. The Vancouver, British Columbia native posted 47 pars and had nine birdies, helping him to his best finish in 3-straight years at the event.
In 2012, Fahy tied for 48th at the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship with a 4-day score of 294 (71-75-73-75) and in 2011 tied for 56th with a finish of 296 (75-70-76-75).
Eli Cole, of Beverly Hills, Calif., won the event with a 6-under par 276 with rounds of 71-66-69-70.
