SPOKANE, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's soccer team has been honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for its success in the classroom earning the 2011 NSCAA College Team Academic Award. In addition, the Zags were one of seven West Coast Conference schools to earn the honor and had the second highest GPA of the WCC institutions. The University of Portland had the highest cumulative GPA in the WCC, posting 3.49.
