SAN JOSE, Calif. - Sophomore Brandon Crick is fourth and freshman Kyle Huus is seventh to pace Gonzaga University's men's golf team through 36 holes of the SCU Invitational Monday at the par 72, 7004-yard Silver Creek Valley Country Club.
Crick had rounds of 70-68 for a 6-under-par 138 while Huus fired rounds of 69-72 for a 141. Crick is two shots off the lead, Huus five behind 36-hole leader Nick Delio of Cal State Northridge who shot 69-67 for an 8-under-par 136.
The Bulldogs are sixth in the team chase at 585 after rounds of 292-293. The Bulldogs are four shots out of fourth. The University of Oklahoma, ranked 33rd nationally, is the team leader at 565 and leads the University of Portland by eight strokes.
This is the final tournament of the fall season for the Bulldogs.
