Bell Tied For Fifth At Northridge

<>SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Darkness suspended played Monday with one threesome still on the the course in the second round of the Bill Cullum/ Countrywide Intercollegiate men's golf tournament.
Gonzaga's Stu Bell was tied for fifth after one round, while the Bulldogs were seventh after 18 holes.
Play will resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday to complete the second round, with the final 18 holes to immediately follow.
Bell shot a 37-33 for a 2-under-par 70 over the 6,753-yard, par 72 Wood Ranch Golf Club. Matt Munroe shot a 73, Jimmy Hayes 75, Ryan Miller 76 and Trevor Loe 77 as the Bulldogs put together an 18-hole score of 294.
West Coast Conference foe Saint Mary's College is the first-round leader at 278 for an 8-stokr lead over Weber State University. Liam Kendregan of SMC is the first-round leader with a 5-under-par 67.
