Bulldogs Third In Inland Empire Intercollegiate

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's Kate Siddell was in sixth place after 36 holes of the Inland Empire Women's Intercollegiate golf tTournament on Monday, firing a 154 tgo trail leader Marie Valente of the Univesity of Idaho by seven strokes heading into Tuesday's final round.

Siddell had rounds of 74-80 over the 5,881-yard, par 72 Donwriver Golf Course in helping Gonzaga to third place after the first day with a 640. Idaho led the team chase with 619 followed by UC-Riverside at 623. Gonzaga holds a 3-stroke lead over Eastern Washington University in the battle for third.
