Grace Whiteley joined Gonzaga in August 2021 after having roles at both Eastern Washington University and the University of Tennessee.
Whiteley oversees media relations and communications for women's basketball, men's soccer, women's tennis, men's tennis, women's rowing, and men's rowing.Â
Prior to arriving at Gonzaga, Whiteley worked in the Sports Information Department at Eastern Washington University for two years during college. She was the main contact for women's soccer, golf, tennis and track and field during her time in the office. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in Communications.
Whiteley went on to graduate school at the University of Tennessee to earn her Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management. During her time in Knoxville, Whiteley worked in the media relations department and was the main contact for women's rowing and golf.
Whiteley resides in Spokane with her husband, Jacob and their dogs, Hazel and Millie.
