All-Academic Team and Honorable Mention

Upon the completion of each athletic season, the West Coast Conference recognizes those student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and in their respective competitive arenas. For consideration of a WCC All-Academic Award, student-athletes must attain a minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA, have at least sophomore academic and athletic standing, complete at least one year of residence at his/her nominating institution, and participate in over 50% of the nominating institution’s competitions as a strong contributor to the success of the team.

Commissioner’s Honor Roll

The WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognizes those student-athletes who have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. The conference breaks down this recognition into three levels: Gold Honors (3.75-4.00), Silver Honors (3.50-3.74), and Bronze Honors (3.00-3.49). In addition to the GPA requirements, student-athletes must have earned a varsity letter while also completing an average of 12-credit hours per term for the duration of the year.

For seven consecutive years, Gonzaga has led the WCC in total number of student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll. In the 2023-2024 academic year, Gonzaga had 250 student-athletes garner recognition: 101 received Gold honors, 63 received Silver honors, and 86 received Bronze honors.
