Toby Finn Helps U.S. Men's Four Win Opening Heat at U23 World Championships

DUISBURG, Germany – Gonzaga's Toby Finn helped the United States Men's Four crew win its opening heat Thursday morning at the 2026 World Rowing Under 23 Championships, earning an automatic berth into the semifinal round.
Racing alongside Kian Aminian (Princeton), Jordan Dykema (Harvard), and Timothy Parsons (Yale), the U.S. crossed the line first in 6:29.83, holding off Romania (6:32.19) and Germany (6:32.30). By winning the heat, the Americans advanced directly to the semifinals. The United States topped a competitive six-boat field that also included Canada, Italy, and Serbia.
Finn was named to the 2026 USRowing Under 23 National Team earlier this summer after a standout season with the Bulldogs. He is one of the U.S. crews competing at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships, held July 23-26 in Duisburg, Germany.
The U.S. Men's Four will return to the water for its semifinal race on Friday, July 24, at 1:41 a.m.
