Machu Earns WCC Women's Cross Country Runner Of The Week

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Rosina Machu of Gonzaga earned her third University Credit Union WCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week this season.
UCU WCC WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – ROSINA MACHU, SO. – GONZAGA
Just two weeks after shattering the GU program 6K record at the Lakefront Invitational, Machu bested her own record once again, this time by four seconds (19:16.3) at the Bronco Invite at Baylands Regional Park. The Boise native finished nearly 40 seconds ahead of the 200+ remaining individuals in the field, leading Gonzaga to a 40 point team victory.
